Boothbay
Harbor is a working fishing village with a large fleet of fishing
boats as well as a destination for cruising yachts. Take your coffee
and go for a walk before breakfast along the waterfront to a park
overlooking the harbor, where you can watch the boats go out in
the morning. Put aside a few hours to sit on a pier or rock and
watch the busy harbor, the fog bank as it rolls in with the tide
and listen to the fog horn sounding from Burnt Island Light. Restaurants
abound, all within walking distance; from lobster in the open to
fine dining. There are galleries, museums, shops and scenic boat
trips to watch puffins, seals, whales, or to enjoy a clambake.

Fishermens
Festival in April kicks off the areas festival season. June
brings fields of lupine and the Annual Windjammer Days Festival
with a rendezvous of windjammers, an antique boat parade,
waterfront concerts, great food and fireworks over the harbor.
If you can not make it during the summer months we have a
glorious fall with spectacular foliage and beautiful skies.
We
are open year round except for the month of February. So take
a winter break, plan a mini reunion with friends, bring a
study group and enjoy the quiet and the scenery of winter
at the seacoast.
